  • Clovis Depot Model Train Museum. Housed in the historic train depot, maintains a HO scale layout that depicts the Clovis yard and adjacent city layout. Clovis is still a very active rail hub, with up to 100 trains passing the depot daily.

NOTE: The Clovis Train Museum closed permanently in 2016.

  • Rio Grande Division, NMRA. Rocky Mountain Division #6 of the National Model Railroad Association. Meets bi-monthly in Albuquerque.

  • Rio Grande Modeling & Historical Society. Dedicated to the history and scale modeling of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad, which also served northern New Mexico. Colorado Springs area.

  • Rio Grande Valley Model Railroad Club. HO scale club with a display at the State Fair grounds (EXPO New Mexico) in Albuquerque.

  • Rocky Mountain Region, NMRA. Unit of the National Model Railroad Association including New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and parts of Texas and South Dakota.

  • Santa Fe Model Railroad Club. Promotes interest in railroads and modeling in northern New Mexico. Provides display at the County Fairgrounds, and holiday displays for public viewing.

  • SouthWest Model Railroad Club SWMRC (formerly Belen Model Railroad Club (BMRC). HO scale. Housed in the historic Harvey House, which also holds the Belen Harvey House Museum. Maintains a large working model exhibit. The Museum features railroad and Harvey House memorabilia, and a Gift Shop.

  • Toy Train Depot Foundation. Non-profit organization dedicated to preservation and presentation of small-scale trains, particularly the "park ride" trains once common across America. Maintains the America's Park Ride Museum and the Alamogordo/Alameda Park Narrow Gauge (16") Railway, offering visitors a park ride experience. Alamogordo.
